Number 59 marks the beginning of change, a number that links idea and realization, a number that symbolizes the need to take responsibility. From number 59, an idea becomes a reality that pushes boundaries, contributes to space, and becomes an influence. Number 59 is assigned to the architectural practice with the aim of transforming the architectural narrative.
PRAKSA59 is an architectural studio actively engaged in the fields of architectural design, urban planning, and landscape architecture, as well as interior design. We also provide consulting services and investment planning.
The studio was founded by architect Aleksandar Lukić in 2018 in Šabac, and since early 2019, an office was opened in Belgrade. From the very beginning, alongside continuous engagement in Šabac and Belgrade, the studio has been actively working through its projects and collaborations across the Republic of Serbia, with occasional involvement in international projects. We are active participants in architectural competitions both in Serbia and abroad.
The studio was established with the goal of initiating changes in space, among users, and in the environment in which it operates. Our approach to architecture and new challenges is to change the existing architectural narrative through concept and to offer a new vision for architectural development, with an emphasis on the impact of the local context. Through collaboration with clients, we develop spatial ideas, and PRAKSA59 brings the idea from concept to final realization, taking full responsibility through active involvement in the construction and execution phases of our projects. The final realization of the shared idea between the architect and the client represents an impact that brings change to the broader community.
We are the authors of several completed residential buildings, commercial facilities, public landscape design projects, as well as competition entries. Our projects have been published in various professional magazines and online platforms and have been presented to the public at the Architecture Salons in Belgrade in 2024 and 2025, and in Novi Sad in 2020, which are among the most significant architectural events in Serbia each year.
We have been active members of the ASAP community since 2022.
